Happy Birthday Kuma (19)

Happy Birthday Kumi. I give you a million kisses on the head and I hold you close. Today you would be 19 years old.

We never really made a big deal out of your birthday other than a special outing to the park or to Tim Horton`s for the toasted cheese bagel with cream cheese. You didn`t seem to notice that it was your birthday. You were happy everyday and to me everyday was a celebration of the day you were born.

You are still with me in my mind and inside me Kumi. I feel you everyday and sometimes you visit in my dreams.

I don`t understand what is life or death. I don`t know where you are now and I search for you all the time. It`s just something that I cannot comprehend. How can it be possible that you are so real to me and yet physically you don`t exist. My mind has not accepted that yet and somewhere, somehow I still wait until I can be with you again.
